What is the check-in process?
Cabana Rental Check-In ProcessArrive 10–15 minutes early: Please plan to arrive before your reservation time so we can get you settled in and ready to relax.Check in with our resort team: Visit the designated pool or cabana check-in area and provide the name on your reservation.Bring valid ID & credit card: The person who booked the cabana must present a valid photo ID and leave a valid credit card on file with the pool bar for incidental charges during your stay.Review resort policies: Our team will go over cabana use guidelines, pool rules, guest limits, and any safety information you need for the day.Complete any required forms: If a waiver or agreement is needed, we’ll have you complete it before accessing the cabana area.Receive your cabana assignment: A team member will confirm your cabana location and direct you to your private space.Get oriented: We’ll point out nearby amenities, restrooms, food and beverage options, and where to find assistance during your rental.Settle in and enjoy: Once checked in, you’re welcome to relax, unwind, and enjoy your reserved cabana for the duration of your rental time.If you arrive late, your reservation time will still end at the scheduled time, so we recommend arriving early to make the most of your cabana experience.

How do refunds work?
Refund Policy: Eligible refunds for cabana rentals are processed back to the original payment method used at checkout. Please allow 5–7 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.Cancellations made within the approved cancellation window will receive a refund according to the terms of the reservation. Cancellations made after the deadline, no-shows, or unused rental time are not eligible for a refund.If Fairmont Hot Springs Resort must cancel your cabana reservation due to an operational issue or resort closure, you may choose to reschedule or receive a refund. To request a refund or ask about your reservation, please contact our team with your booking details.
What if the rental is damaged?
Damage PolicyA refundable security deposit or card authorization may be required for cabana rentals and will be shown at checkout or confirmed at check-in. This deposit helps cover any damage, missing items, or excessive cleaning needed after your rental.Normal use and minor wear are expected. Guests are responsible for damage beyond normal use, including but not limited to:Broken or damaged furniture, fixtures, curtains, or shade structuresStains, burns, tears, or excessive spills on cushions, seating, or cabana materialsMissing towels, keys, wristbands, or included cabana itemsDamage caused by misuse, prohibited items, or failure to follow resort rulesExcessive trash, food mess, or cleanup beyond standard turnoverOur team inspects each cabana before and after every rental. If damage or missing items are found, we will review the issue, document it, and notify the renter as soon as possible. Any repair, replacement, or additional cleaning costs may be charged to the card on file or deducted from the security deposit.To avoid charges, please report any pre-existing damage when you arrive and notify resort staff right away if something happens during your rental.
Are there age requirements?
Guests must be 18+ to reserve a cabana. Children are welcome with adult supervision. Cabanas 1–3 are reserved for guests 21+, while Cabanas 4–7 are designated for families.
What happens if there's bad weather?
Weather Policy: Guest safety is our top priority. Cabana rentals are available during normal resort operations, but if severe weather, lightning, high winds, or other unsafe conditions require us to close the pool area or cancel cabana reservations, you may choose to reschedule for another available date or request a refund.Light rain or cooler temperatures may not result in cancellation if the pool area remains open. If you have concerns about the forecast, please contact us before your reservation time. Guest-requested changes or cancellations due to weather are subject to availability and our standard cancellation policy unless the resort determines conditions are unsafe.
